LAX gas leak shuts terminal, sickens airport workers
A terminal at Los Angeles International Airport was evacuated after a suspected carbon dioxide gas leak.
It sickened four airport workers with one in a critical condition.
Terminal 8 was later deemed safe and reopened.
United Airlines had to ‘temporarily consolidate’ operations to Terminal 7 for a few hours.
All other terminals operated as normal.
The most seriously injured worker went into cardiac arrest, the LAFD said.
