Legends and luxury in Abu Dhabi
Scottish rocker Rod Stewart will give a special performance for 5,000 fans at a new luxury exhibition and entertainment showcase which will debut at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre next year.
‘The Collection’ aims to match an audience of 15,000 specially invited high net-worth consumers with 100 of the world’s iconic high-end brands.
‘The Collection’ will run for three days and three nights from October 31 to November 2, just ahead of the F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.
Other headline acts will be announced shortly, along with details of a match between two former tennis champions.
Chris James, managing director of The Vision Arabia Exhibition Organisers, said in addition to a highly stylised exhibition component, "we will also host daily live auctions in partnership with three leading auction houses.
"This will be the first event of its kind in the UAE, if not the world," he added.
The Collection exhibitors include sellers of fine art, vintage motorcars, antiques, yachts, fragrances, gems, travel, watches, real estate, home and garden and other luxury goods.
