Libra unveils interim management team
Former MyTravel director Eamonn Ferrin is part of a new interim management team at Libra Holidays.
Mangement consultant Michael East has also joined the Greece and Cyprus specialist following the injection of investment capital (see previous TravelMole story).
Ferrin, former head of sales and marketing at Airtours Holidays, and East join Libra group chief executive Andreas Drakou, who has assumed the role of managing director.
They have been charged with maintaining an enhance the company’s relationships with business and industry partners, a statement said.
They will be “respositioning the company and its products for 2008 and beyond”.
The statement added that all areas of Libra’s business remain operating as normal.
Ferrin, who recently left MyTravel, held a number of senior roles with the group including managing director of BCT Travel Group and president of Sunquest Vacations in Canada.
