Lifetime achievement for Nigel Lingard
Nigel Lingard was given a lifetime achievement award last night after 32 years in the cruise industry.
The Passenger Shipping Association's (PSA) annual John Lancaster Smith Award – for services to passenger shipping – was presented to Nigel at the PSA's annual dinner at The Dorchester.
Lingardrecently retired as sales and marketing director for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.
William Gibbons, director of the PSA said: "Nigel is one of the industry's charismatic characters, working tirelessly over the years to promote both ferry and cruise travel."
