Perhaps modestly, Manhattan calls itself “The Little Apple.” But CVB officials say convention-goers can rest easy because it has:
- More than 1,000 sleeping rooms ranging from B&Bs to convention hotels.
- The Manhattan Conference Center near the Manhattan Airport and the Sunset Zoo offers 15,500 square feet of meeting space.
- Major hotels include the Clarion, with 12,000 square feet of meeting space and the Holiday Inn near the K-State campus which can accommodate groups from six to 400.
- The Manhattan Regional Airport has direct flights from Dallas and Chicago.
- The CVB offers various welcome packages and site visit, as well as guided tours.
- The CVB’s Little Apple Corps volunteers provide assistance during peak registration period as well as other services.
