Live from the Mole at World Travel Market (WTM), London
I visited WTM this year along with 50,245 other brave souls (including 2,531 press, 26,498 delegates and 5,631 exhibitors) who made the trek daily for 4 days via tube and Dockland Light Railway delays, as usual. Notwithstanding the pain of getting to and from WTM at the ExCel Exhibition Centre, the show is always outstanding. You can see from the pictures presented here that Tourism offices take WTM seriously, building 2 and 3 story booths including areas to meet, refreshments, entertainment and presentations. There is so much to see and do that 4 days is actually not enough time to get to everyone. Maybe someone should create a full 7 day event and consolidate the number of travel industry events (that would be a miracle!).
