Coming off a record setting 2022 spring and summer season of events, Austin, TX is prepping for a busy lineup of in-person happenings this fall.

 

The Pecan Street Festival is a free two-day arts festival held twice yearly in downtown Austin’s Sixth Street Historic District. Taking place September 17-18, the festival attracts hundreds of local and national artisans offering original handcrafted creations in metal, wood, fiber, clay, leather, glass and stone. www.pecanstreetfestival.org

 

The annual Austin City Limits Music Festival returns for a weekend full of live music, food, and fun activities. Taking place October 7-9 and 16-18, festival-goers can experience a diverse lineup of acts with eight stages, more than 130 performances with two full weekends of music. www.aclfestival.com

 

The Formula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix returns to Texas October 21-23. The three-day event provides an action-packed experience that fuses world-class racing with major championship implications. Get those costumes ready for the epic psychedelic music and art festival, LEVITATION, taking place October 27-30. This four-day weekend of music brings art to Austin’s diverse Red River Cultural District. www.levitation.fm

 

Pamper your palate at the Austin Food + Wine Festival, taking place November 4-6. Join top chef talent, sommeliers and winemakers from across the nation for an indulgent, three-day epicurean adventure topped off with live musical performances. www.austinfoodandwinefestival.com

 

The Texas Book Festival, taking place November 5-6, has evolved into one of the premier literary events in the country and hosts about 250 authors each year. For a taste of Irish, Scottish and Breton culture, the Austin Celtic Festival, taking place November 5-6, delivers music, dance, sports, food and more.
