Liverpool announces new flights to Spain
British Airways’ sister carrier Vueling will launch a three-times-a-week service between Liverpool and Barcelona next year.
Starting on March 27, the flights will depart on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
Vueling is the fifth airline to announce new services from Liverpool John Lennon Airport in the past 12 months, taking the number of airlines operating from LJLA to nine.
CEO of LJLA Andrew Cornish said: "This is more fantastic news for LJLA and the Liverpool City Region with another airline to add to our expanding list of operators. This further adds to our growing reputation amongst Europe’s major airlines as a gateway not only to Liverpool but the wider North West market."
