London ‘Night Tube’ to launch in July
The London ‘Night Tube’ service will start towards the end of July, 10 months later than planned.
The service will see some Tube lines run 24/7.
The Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines will operate a reduced service from 1am to 5am on Saturdays and Sundays.
Normal service will resume after 5am on Sundays.
After a long-running battle with management, staff from the two biggest unions, Aslef and the RMT, have accepted a pay deal.
Transport Salaried Staffs Association and Unite have yet to accept a package, but management company TfL is finalizing plans for the launch.
