Long haul specialist fails
Long haul specialist Skies the Limit has failed after 10 years in business.
The Maidenhead business sold long haul package holidays under the name STL Holidays exclusively through its own agency, Elegant and Travel and Tours.
At the time of its collapse there were 321 passengers with forward bookings and 17 passengers overseas, all covered by ATOL protection.
The directors are named as Brynley Rowlands and Graham Slade.
The agency’s website, eleganttravelandtours.com, is still showing but the phones are ringing unanswered.
The website says: "We are aware that, in this day and age, that travellers are getting increasingly adventurous and are wanting to tailor make their own holidays. We therefore provide an extensive tailor made holiday service, whether it be a two centre Caribbean Holiday or a multi centre around the world trip, we can build your dream holiday for you, totally to your own specifications."
The company was a member of the Travel Trust Association.
