TUI Northern Europe boss Peter Rothwell will remain a board member as deputy CEO of TUI Travel but Long will represent tourism on the executive board.
TUI AG head Dr Michael Frenzel said: “We are pleased that, with Peter Long as head of our tourism subsidiary, one of Europe’s best respected tourism managers will be part of the top management body of the group.”
