LOT Polish Airlines eyes Thailand
The Tourism Authority of Thailand says it is working closely with flag carrier LOT Polish Airlines to expand connectivity from eastern Europe.
TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool says Poland is a key focus for boosting inbound tourist arrivals.
LOT has operated many seasonal charter flights to Thailand such as direct service to Krabi and Phuket from Warsaw.
Thapanee inked a deal with the airline to ramp up tourist arrivals from Poland and across Eastern Europe.
TAT is aggressively targeting the Poland market and is collaborating with LOT Polish Airlines to expand flight options.
TAT says the number of Polish visitors to Thailand so far this year is up by nearly one-third.
This increase is higher than most other major European markets.
