LOT Polish Airlines launching Washington DC flights
LOT Polish Airlines has announced plans for its 10th route connecting Poland and the United States..
It will begin flying to Washington D.C from Warsaw from June 2, 2020.
LOT is deploying Dreamliners on the nine-hour route which will run three times a week.
"We focused not only on connecting the capitals of Poland and the U.S. but also on the tourist and business potential offered by this connection which has been growing with each year," said Rafa- Milczarski, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines.
Flights will feature three classes including LOT Business Class and Premium Economy as well as the main economy cabin.
LOT’s US flight network includes New York, Newark, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco.
Last month Poland joined the US visa waiver program, which was a major factor in adding to its US network with the new route and ‘a milestone in the Polish-American relationship’ the airline said.
