Loud music sparks brawl on Spirit Airlines flight

A disagreement over loud music being played on a ‘boom box’ aboard a Spirit Airlines flight escalated into a mid-flight brawl between five women.
During the Baltimore-Los Angeles flight early Wednesday, a passenger complained to two women about the music who were described in a LA Times report as ‘intoxicated.’
Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry said the women refused and taunted: "What are you going to do?"
"Then to provoke other customers they were holding up their boom box in the air, waving it around," Berry said.
Another group of miffed passengers then got involved and a fight ensued.
Five passengers were hauled off the plane after it landed in LA for a ‘mutual combat situation,’ said police officer Rob Pedregon.
The FBI was also called to investigate but no one was charged.
