Lounge luxury fits the bill
Holiday add ons website, TripExtras, has seen bookings for its airport lounges in August double those of August 2009.
“Even though it may be thought of as a luxury travel service, our lounge bookings are stronger than ever†says James Berry, director of TripExtras.
“We are seeing that holidaymakers, in particularly couples, are discovering lounges for the first time and then coming back to book repeatedly. We have also seen a rise in non-UK lounge bookings, so travellers are clearly using lounges at both ends of their trip to maximise the value and experience.â€
