Lowcost expands into the US
Lowcostbeds has expanded into the US market by launching a website specifically for travel agents in the US, supported by an office in Atlanta, Georgia.
US travel agencies can access 250,000 hotels via www.lowcostbeds.us and combine them with airport transfers. The company said it was offering agents access to low cost accommodation in destinations including the Caribbean, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Jamaica as well as in Europe.
Managing director International Alex Gisbert said: "We originally planned to launch at the end of this year, but moved the date forward due to the high number of requests received from US agencies on our UK website.
A call-center will be available 24/7, staffed by English and Spanish speaking staff.
Lowcostbeds has 15,000 travel agencies registered in Europe.
