Lufthansa to complete acquisition of Brussels Airlines
The German carriers has confirmed that it will complete its takeover of Brussels Airlines following a meeting today of its Supervisory Board.
The board approved plans for Lufthansa to acquire the remaining 55% of SN Airholding, Brussels Airlines’ parent.
It said it aims to exercise its option to buy the remaining shares by the end of this year.
The transaction should be competed at the beginning of 2017, said Lufthansa.
