Luggage Mule baggage service launched
Another luggage collection and delivery service has been launched and is being backed by some well-known industry names.
Pure Genie managing director Ian Brooks and Rock Insurance director Antony Martin are among the backers of Luggage Mule.
The company aims to transport suitcases and other luggage to popular holiday destinations at a cheaper cost than the passenger would pay to put in the hold.
The majority of bookings will come through the travel trade and Luggage Mule will pay commission to agents.
The launch coincides with a report by Which? Travel, which says budget airline charges are now so high it is often cheaper to use a courier.
