Luton confirms record-breaking February
Luton Airport saw passenger numbers grow by 19.5% in February compared with the same month last year.
Over one million travellers passed through the airport, marking 35 consecutive months of double-digit passenger growth.
Later this month, the London airport will offer four new routes: Ryanair will launch flights to Dusseldorf Weeze, easyJet will launch flights to Stockholm and the Isle of Man, and Blue Air will begin flights to Cluj in Romania.
CEO Nick Barton said: "February has been another record-breaking month for LLA. We have taken huge strides to improve the passenger experience and our growing popularity reflects the progress we have made."
