Luton to offer flights to Moldova
Romanian carrier Carpatair is to launch a service from Luton to Chisinau, the capital city of the Republic of Moldova.
Commencing on December 19, the twice-weekly service will be operated by a 148-seat Boeing 737-300 on Thursdays and Sundays.
Simon Harley, airline development manager at Luton Airport, said: "This will be our first service to the Republic of Moldova and to be able to launch a new destination with yet another new carrier choosing to come to London Luton is testament to the airport’s convenient location and efficient operations.
"With Carpatair’s quality onboard service and competitive fares, we are sure the Chisinau flights will be a great success."
