Luxperience prevails in show spat
Luxury travel show Luxperience, and Rosemarie Sama, its former CEO, have reached an agreement regarding the holding of future luxury travel trade shows.
Sama was planning a separate luxury travel show in Sydney next year at the same venue and at the same time as Luxperience.
No specific details of the agreement were released.
CEO Helen Logas said Luxperience would go ahead as planned in 2013. Sama’s show, LETE, has been canned.
Logas said: "The agreement allows Luxperience to build on its success in 2012, and for both of us to focus on our respective futures."
Luxperience 2013 will be held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney from September 2-4.
Sama said: "While Sydney and the region is a large market place, I recognised that in reality there is probably room for only one luxury travel trade show.
"As I put a great deal of passion and effort into Luxperience 2012, I want to see it continue to succeed."
