Luxury hotel amenity is a breath of fresh air
Here’s an amenity not often expected at even the fanciest hotels: portable oxygen canisters.
The same type of small, water bottle-sized canisters used by professional athletes and others during games are now an amenity at the Five-Diamond Pan Pacific Vancouver.
“These days, we’re finding more and more travelers are looking for an oxygen boost to recover from jet lag or to alleviate the stress and fatigue of a long journey,” said Steve Halliday, president, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, North America.
The canisters hold about six gallons of oxygen-enriched air, allowing for two three minutes of continuous use.
The Oxia oxygen dispensers are available only to guests for $15.95. Refillable canisters are also for sale.
