Major industry questions tackled at the upcoming ABTA travel convention
For the second year running, Traveltek is proud to build on its long-term relationship with ABTA in sponsoring the mobile App at the upcoming Travel Convention. The event is the perfect platform to showcase Traveltek’s award-winning travel technology to association members.
The theme of this year’s conference will be "Truth, Trust and the Future of Experts" and will look at how those in the know can instil confidence and trust amongst the general population. In an era of increasing scepticism, ABTA chief executive Mark Tanzer noted: "People talk about the erosion of trust in politicians and experts, so where do you go? Who do you trust?"
He also mentioned that with recent data breach scandals hitting the headlines, it is becoming increasingly difficult for travel companies to retain and build rapport with faithful clients.
The conference will discuss these issues, and will look at how travel businesses can strengthen brand trust and personal relationships in an automated world. The forward-looking event is an opportunity for experts in the field to examine what is happening in the world and industry and the tangible effects it has on travel businesses.
The event will take place from the 8th to the 10th October at the five-star Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento hotel in the beautiful city of Seville.
On sponsoring the event, Kenny Picken, Traveltek CEO, said: "As an industry-leading travel technology firm that has worked closely with the UK travel industry for 20 years, partnering with ABTA to sponsor the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Travel Convention App makes perfect business sense. We look forward to building on our long-term relationship with ABTA and its members."
