Major management re-shuffle at HRG
Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has made sweeping changes to its management team.
UK managing director Mike Platt has been given the newly created position of group industry affairs director and Chris Fry has been appointed commercial director.
Peter Kite has been promoted to managing director HRG UK and Ian Windsor to operational director for Europe. Both will take seats on the board.
Keith Burgess, company secretary and general counsel, has been given the additional responsibility of corporate administration.
The travel management company has also appointed three regional presidents.
Reto Bacher becomes president for Europe, including the UK.
Kevin Ruffles is to become regional president for Asia Pacific and will pass his central services director responsibilities to Keith Burgess.
Tom Gleason will head up North America, focusing on the integration and development of the businesses in this region – Sea Gate Travel, Robustelli World Travel, Partnership Travel Consulting and BTI Canada.
Former Sea Gate Travel chief executive Dan Green is to head up Hogg Robinson’s ongoing acquisition programme in North America.
Jacqui Higgs, previously responsible for group communications, is now in the new role of group marketing director.
