Malindo Air partners with ANA
Malindo Air has teamed up with Japan’s All Nippon Airways in a bid to increase traffic via its Kuala Lumpur hub.
ANA becomes Malindo Air’s fifth interline partner after Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Oman Air.
The pact allows ANA passengers to utilise Malindo’s regional Asia network via Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Malindo flies to 46 cities in 16 countries.
"We are delighted to partner with ANA, one of the world’s leading airlines for its excellence in hospitality. It is indeed crucial for us, as a premium airline, to expand our route network and bring our passengers beyond KLIA with great airline partners," said Malindo Air CEO Chandran Rama Muthy.
Murthy said the agreement also gives fliers access to about 200 global and domestic destinations via ANA’s hub airports in Tokyo.
Malindo Air is a member of the Indonesia based Lion Air Group which holds a 49% stake in the carrier.
