Man arrested over Delta terror scare
Irish police have confirmed that they have arrested a German man in connection with a bomb scare on a Delta Air Lines jet. As reported by News From Abroad, the Delta flight was en route from Frankfurt to Atlanta when a note warning of a bomb on board was found in the toilet area. The Boeing 767-300 made an emergency landing in Shannon, Ireland, but despite an extensive search nothing was found. Now, according to the BBC News website, a 19-year-old German man who was a passenger has been arrested after everyone on the flight was interviewed and fingerprinted. The man has not yet been charged.
