Management shake-up at TUI UK and Ireland
Fraser Ellacott, TUI UK & Ireland director of distribution and sales, will leave the business at the end of June.
He is leaving after 11 years to take on a senior management position at Rentalcars.com based near his home in Cheshire.
Ellacott was director of engineering for First Choice and then Thomson Airways, following the merger of TUI Tourism and First Choice Holidays in 2007.
He was then MD of Thomson Cruises and, in his most recent role, was responsible for distribution and sales in the UK.

Currently MD of Thomson Cruises, she will also now be tasked with enhancing TUI’s distribution network and deliver strong growth in cruise, and TUI’s core products.
TUI said Caron already has a strong distribution background, having taken responsibility for integrating distribution when Thomson and First Choice merged in 2007 and more recently as director of the Irish business.
Helen will be supported by the existing team and Chris Jones, who joins the business from Carphone Warehouse as director of customer operations.
Nick Longman, MD of TUI UK and Ireland, said: "It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Fraser after 11 years with the business. His passion and energy has driven significant change and helped us build the successful business we are today and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank him and wish him well in his new role."
Of Caron, he said: "I’ve no doubt she’ll bring the same tenacity to her extended role as she focuses on delivering a best-in-class experience for customers across all of our channels, alongside the evolution of our cruise holidays."
