Margaritaville at Sea adds second ship
Margaritaville at Sea is adding a second ship and a second homeport.
The cruise brand just opened bookings for the new ship which will be named Margaritaville at Sea Islander.
The ship has previously sailed as Costa Atlantica and is undergoing a refurbishment.
Staterooms will receive a beach-inspired design makeover and new dining and entertainment venues.
It will offer an alternative to its short Bahamas cruises from Palm Beach aboard first ship Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.
The 2,650-passenger ship will sail four and five-night Caribbean cruises with calls at Key West, and Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico starting in June 2024.
“Since we launched our first ship, last year, we’ve been working to expand what our guests have been asking for: longer itineraries and new ports of call,” said Christopher Ivy, CEO
“The addition of the Islander is an exciting moment for Margaritaville.”
These include a three-level LandShark Bar at Sea, mini-golf and Caribbean Amphibian Splash and Slide play area.
