Margaritaville at Sea reveals new amenities for new flagship
Margaritaville at Sea reveled more details for its newest and largest flagship ship, Beachcomber, set to debut in 2027 from PortMiami.
The cruise line purchased the 105,000 gross ton Costa Fortuna and will refurbish the ship with signature Margaritaville amenities as well as new shipboard experiences.
Beachcomber will have the largest 5 o’Clock Somewhere, a multi-deck, poolside destination for tropical cocktails, live music, and island-inspired cuisine.
Anchoring the ship’s upper decks, it spans four levels and serves as a poolside playground and for pre-dinner sips before dining at nearby JWB Prime Steakhouse. Located at the aft of the ship beneath its signature lime icon, guests will also find:
Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar – The signature poolside grill offering classic burgers with a variety of toppings, continuing the brand’s most iconic tradition.
Mexican Cutie Cantina – A casual taqueria with customizable street-style tacos, rice bowls, and fresh salsas, paired with house-made margaritas.
Adults-Only Cabanas – Private, ocean-view cabanas with cushioned seating and dedicated bar service for a more relaxed experience.
“Poolside experiences on Beachcomber are the main event, and we’ve taken the signature fun up to an entirely new level,” said Christopher Ivy, CEO of Margaritaville at Sea.
Beyond 5 o’Clock Somewhere, Beachcomber’s upper decks include a variety of open-air venues:
License to Chill Pool Deck – A casual retreat featuring a waterslide, whirlpools, and private cabanas. At its center is the Six Strings Stage, hosting live music performances throughout the day.
All-New Daiquiri Shack – A colorful quick-service stop for frozen cocktails.
License to Chill Bar – A hideaway with sweeping ocean views and a menu of signature drinks.
Beachcomber’s soaring Flip Flop Atrium sets the tone as meet-up spot and photo-op backdrop.
From daytime recreation to live evening entertainment, Beachcomber is designed as a vibrant escape, blending bold new venues with the signature experiences that defines Margaritaville at Sea.
