Mark Williams Joins BCD Travel Consulting
Former ACTE president leaves IBM to join BCD Travel’s global consulting practice.
London, 6 September 2006 – BCD Travel announced today that as part of the continuing expansion of its global consulting practice, Mark Williams has joined the organisation as Vice President, Consulting.
Drawing on his extensive expertise in the travel management sector, Williams will be responsible for leading client engagements for the consulting practice. He will report directly to Mary Ellen George, General Manager of BCD Travel Consulting.
Williams joins BCD Travel Consulting from his position as Business Travel Outsourcing Client Manager – Travel for IBM’s Integrated Supply Chain Procurement Services Practice. As such, he supervised the maintenance of day-to-day client relationships, developed and implemented strategic sourcing strategy, and oversaw the sourcing and implementation of all aspects of client travel programmes.
