Marriott’s luxury St Regis brand to rise in Hong Kong
Marriott International has announced the upcoming Hong Kong debut for luxury brand St. Regis.
In partnership with China Resources Property the new St. Regis Hong Kong will join nine other Marriott hotels in Hong Kong and is slated for an early 2019 opening.
With a prime location at historic Wan Chai, the hotel will offer 129 suites, signature Chinese and French restaurants, a banquet hall and heated swimming pool.
Interiors are being created by renowned Hong Kong based designer, André Fu.
"St. Regis constantly seeks to reinterpret and reimagine time-honoured traditions, bringing exciting new options and modern conveniences to luxury travellers. We are glad to be working with China Resources Property to bring the legendary St. Regis name to Hong Kong," said Paul Foskey, chief development officer, Asia Pacific at Marriott International.
The hotel will also have an open-air terrace next to a grand Lobby Lounge and guest service includes the signature St. Regis Butler Service.
St. Regis Hong Kong is located near the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and Victoria Harbour.
Many of the suites in the 25-storey tower offer views across Victoria Harbour and Kowloon Bay.
"We are also happy to note that the presence of the new St Regis in Wan Chai district will add a new level of prestige and appeal to this vibrant quarter of our city," said Frankie Y.F. Bao, managing director of China Resources Property.
