This Friday’s masterclass is to explore new ground in sustainable tourism. Global thought and practice leaders with widely varying areas of specialization will be bringing their knowledge to bear on sustainable tourism development.
J.P Bergqvist will be sharing his lifetime of experience in hospitality with Hilton and Scandic hotels…Gordon Sillence will be bringing his intimate knowledge of the workings of the EU and the UN agencies, global bureaucracies and knowledge networks… Prof Stefan Gossling will bring his deep understanding of climate change and tourism and his membership of the IPCC…Gopinath Parayil will share his experience of a new form of tour operating, responsible tourism networking and travel philanthropy…and Rob Weston will offer vast depth of experience in responsible and sustainable businesses from the Farmers’ Markets to his Organismics enterprises.
The qualities all the presenters share is passion for sustainable tourism and commitment to, and understanding and experience of, sustainability in practice.
It is certain that new ground will be broken, and new understandings gained in sustainable tourism for both for the audience and the speakers.
The masterclass is to take place from 09.30 until 19.00 on Friday 17th September at the Green Tourism gold-starred Zetter Hotel in London’s Clerkenwell.
