Media Onboard to the Olympics
Media Onboard is to be used by the Olympic Council of Ireland, to get their athletes equipment over to Beijing for the Olympics this month, using the Dublin Lufthansa service for their 100+ strong squad.
Media Onboard also available in France!
For couple of years now we have seen French film crews renting a van, taking a Calais-Dover ferry and drive to Heathrow (yes, London Heathrow) to board an international flight to Asia or Middle East. A strange and slightly convoluted way, especially when there are plenty of direct flights from Paris.
Apparently not, when you travel with excess baggage. The “convoluted†way turns out to be cheaper, even if the time spent on a road and crew expenses (not to mention the aggravation!) is also taken into account – all due to prohibitively high excess baggage charges imposed by some airlines in France.
Media Onboard comes to the rescue – we now have an office in Paris and the service is available from Paris Charles de Gaulle, Nice, Marseille and other French airports. Sylvain De Campos is now looking after Media Onboard operation in France. Sylvain says: “I am delighted to run Media Onboard service in France and looking forward to help media and TV production companies with their logistics requirements however complex they might be.â€
