Mega-development announced for Vegas

Boyd Gaming Corporation announced a $4 billion mega-development in Las Vegas expected to be “among the most significant projects” ever in the history of the area.

“The company expects that the development will be a significant leader in Las Vegas’ key growth centers of casino gaming, luxury hospitality including world-class dining and nightlife experiences, shopping, meetings and conventions and entertainment,” said Hotel Online.

Highlights of Echelon Place:

  • Five distinctive hotels with 5,300 guest rooms and suites.

  • More than one million square feet of meeting and conference space.

  • Over 350,000 square feet of shopping, including a mix of luxury retail, “affordable luxury” and dining, nightlife and cultural experiences.

The development is on a 63-acre site on the Las Vegas strip.
