Melia claims to be first hotel chain to sell on Amazon
Melia Hotels International claims it has become the first hotel company to sell products on the e-commerce site Amazon.
While users won’t be able to book rooms on the site, they will able to buy two types of MeliaRewards gift cards that can be exchanged for stays at any of its hotels.
It said the cards are on sale through Amazon in the UK, Spain, France, Italy and Germany, hold 35,000 points or 55,000 points. During Black Friday the hotel chain is offering a 40% discount.
But TravelMole was unable to find them on Amazon UK this morning (Thursday).
