Mexico’s Tren Maya train journeys bookable via Flix
Bookings for Mexico’s tourist rail service Tren Maya are now available through the Flix transportation booking platform.
Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism (Sectur) and Flix unveiled the partnership at FITUR travel trade fair.
Customers can search and reserve Tren Maya tickets via the Flix website and its mobile app.
The ambitious Tren Maya project covers more than 1,500 milometres across the Yucatán Peninsula, linking the states of Tabasco, Campeche, Chiapas, Yucatán and Quintana Roo.
Tourist and Premier class tickets are available.
It runs a fleet of 42 modern trains.
“As of today, any traveler, Mexican or international, can book their Tren Maya journey through Flix,” said Carlos Magaña, Managing Director of Flix Mexico.
“As a Mexican, I’m deeply proud to help connect more people to our extraordinary cultural heritage.”
Tren Maya carries more than one million passengers annually.
Flix entered the Mexican market in May 2025.
Flix currently operates five bus routes in Mexico, serving 12 destinations including Mexico City, Monterrey and San Luis Potosí.
