Miami hotel claims to treat pets as well as human guests
Travelers headed for South Florida who worry about their four-legged companions who want to be sure they get the same dog-gone service might want to consider staying at Turnberry Island Miami. Why?
The famous Mediterranean retreat claims to provide pets with the same "level of service on par with that of their owners and loved ones."
The resort sets up dog and cat beds in-room and provides treats and water that are replenished throughout their stay, "to ensure that pets are comfortable and relaxed on their vacation."
"An in-room dining menu, created specially by the Turnberry Isle Miami’s culinary team, offers a long leash of dining options and includes beef burgers (human style) and cage-free eggs.
Kitty food includes poached chicken breast and tiger shrimp, chilled and chopped.
Treats include natural dog biscuits and fresh catnip.
Rates start at $309 per room, per night. Pets are $25 each with a one-time cleaning fee of $100.
What more could a dog or cat want?
