Michigan Entertains the Trade at Classic Car Show
Pure Michigan hosted a group of tour operators and travel journalists at the Silverstone Classic Car Show on Saturday 25 July.
Guests enjoyed VIP hospitality throughout the day, track rides in a Maserati and the Caterham ‘drift’ experience powersliding around a special course. In the evening they were entertained on the Pure Michigan double decker bus and listened to the sounds of rock group Status Quo. Guests included Laura Smith from Funways, Trudi Pearce from Responsible Travel and Daniel Clyburn from Trafalgar Tours.
This is the second year running that Pure Michigan has sponsored the Silverstone Classic Show, the world’s biggest classic motor racing show. The destination also sponsored a booth in the consumer area of the show, promoting holidays to the 100,000 consumers that visited over the three days of the event.
