Midcounties manager joins Worldchoice
Karen Oates is joining Worldchoice next month to take the new role of membership development manager.
She is currently with Midcounties Co-op as recruitment and business development manager.
In the newly-created role, she will be based in the Midlands responsible for recruiting new members for Worldchoice Plus, the company’s managed services brand, and helping Worldchoice members further develop their businesses.
She will also take responsibility for the business development of Worldchoice’s wholly-owned shops based in Shrewsbury, Wigan and Sheffield.
Helen Burgess, membership director of The Travel Network Group, said: "We continually strive to improve our communication and interaction with members and have established this new senior role to increase our contact with and feedback from members.
"We have now moved our managed services members out of ABTA to a TTA model and Karen will be looking at what other initiatives we can take to ensure our members continue to get the best value out of their relationship with us."
