Miniple agency goes bust
An agency group with 13 offices nationwide selling cheap holidays has folded.
ABTA member P.A. Travel based in Blackburn was unable to meet its liabilities and has ceased trading, according to the association.
The company was a member of Midconsort, according to its website, and also traded as World Travel Store, P.A Sport and Leisure Travel, Cloud 9 Travel, Independent Holiday Choices and Sun Inn Travel. It held an ATOL license.
The firm had branch offices in Lydney, Bridgend, Rainham, Windermere, Northampton, Great Yarmouth, Melton Road and Evington Street, Leicester; Feilden Street and Queens Road, Blackburn; Glasgow, Thetford and Bournemouth.
ABTA said: “Customers who need to make a claim from this failure can contact the ABTA Claims Department for further assistance on 020 7637 2444.
P.A. Travel’s website says it offered “bargain” and “cheap” package holidays plus deals to Orlando.
The site said: “P.A. Travel aim to provide our visitors with a complete one stop shop for all your holiday and flight requirements.”
