Monarch staff switch roles
Sending clients on Monarch this summer? Expect to hear tales of cabin crew appearing amazingly knowledgable about the engine’s mechanics and the laws of physics that allow it to fly.
As part of the airline’s training programme, it is moving staff around different deprtaments so that they can experience a raft of different jobs – starting with six apprentice engineers and two highly-qualified aircraft technicians becoming cabin crew this summer.
Don’t worry, they have done their cabin crew training first so they know where the exits are and how to stir your martini.
But who’s been making sure the plane works?
