Montana brothel: RIP
The Dumas Brother Museum, where tourists could learn about an historic house of ill repute that once occupied the site, is closing permanently.
The building is falling down and there’s no money to repair it, said owner Rudy Giecek.
The brothel closed in 1981. It was turned into a museum and has been a popular tourist stop for the last 15 years.
“The Dumas has brought many people from throughout the world to visit Butte, Montana,” said Mr Giecek. “It is a huge loss to the history of Butte.”
