Month of Love at Qunci Villas
It’s not too late to catch up on the entertainment at Qunci Villas, the privately owned and operated 78-room Lombok resort.
The month of February will be devoted to the love of art, food and music at the resort with events scheduled each week with visiting chefs and artists from southeast Asia and Australia.
Called the "Month of Love", events begin February 1 with a dinner prepared by visiting Irish chef, Andrew Walsh, who presides over Singapore’s Esquina, the city-state’s new tapas bar and restaurant.
Walsh will follow up his six-course tasting dinner with a Spanish styled Sunday lunch on February 2.
Chefs and artists in residence are highlighted throughout the month including recitals by Filipino guitar soloist, Manuel Cabrera II, who will perform February 1 and 2.
From January 28-February 13, Indonesian artists also will provide demonstrations and an exhibition in the property’s art corridor.
Resort chef and French national Frederic Pougault, who will offer his own Valentines Day dinner highlighting aphrodisiac ingredients, will share his kitchens with another cooking talent from Western Australia, Hadleigh Troy of Perth’s Amuse restaurant.
