More than half a million tourists have visited Maldives in 2022
Maldives has welcomed over half a million tourists so far this year.
The Ministry of Tourism released the latest tourism data showing an increase of nearly one-half compared to 2021 but still about 10% below pre-pandemic levels.
As of April 13, the UK contributed the most arrivals to the Maldives so far this year, with a 13.2% market share.
During 2020, the Maldives received 555,000 arrivals for the entire year.
