More top speakers for TravelMole Question Time

The next TravelMole Travel Industry Question Time debate on the future of the travel agent has attracted more top speakers.

The event ‘Shaping the Travel Agent of Tomorrow – future strategies for growth’ will be held in association with ABTA at its Newman Street headquarters on October 18 from 15.00-17.00.

Latest additions to the panel of speakers are Barry Moxley (Traveltime), new chairman of AITO Specialist Travel Agents, and David Roche, vice-president EMEA of Expedia’s online accommodation business Hotels.com.

Other speakers confirmed are Sabre vice-president of northern region and global accounts Reet Wiseman and Advantage Travel Centres managing director John McEwan.

The debate will cover questions such as:

*Is specialisation the route to growth?

*Will online dynamic packaging services rescue agents or be a passing phase?

*Should agents become tour operators?

*Will service win out?

*Can agents fight back against online rivals?
