More union problems for QF
Qantas has denied workers’ claims that the sale of its catering business at Adelaide airport is imminent.
Some of Adelaide’s 140 workers with Qantas Flight Catering Limited say they have been told the operation will be sold within a fortnight and jobs could be lost.
In a statement, Qantas says it is talking with various players in the industry and selling its catering business is an option.
The company has made no decision on the possible sale of the catering divisions in capital cities around Australia.
