Mother dies while on holiday in Bulgaria
A mother-of-four has died after being hit by a vehicle while on holiday in Bulgaria.
Roseleen Donaghy from Donaghmore, County Tyrone, was walking with her husband Brian when the couple were hit sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Police are currently investigating the incident, which is understood to have occurred close to the couple’s apartment, believed to be near the popular holiday resort of Sunny Beach, reports the Ulster Herald.
Her husband, Brian, was also injured but his condition is not being considered life threatening.
In a statement, the Foreign Office confirmed, "We are aware of a traffic accident in Bulgaria involving two British nationals. We are providing consular assistance."
