Mourners line the streets for John Hays’ funeral
Hundreds of mourners lined the streets of Sunderland to pay their respects to John Hays, whose funeral was held today.
Overnight several landmarks in the city where the Hays Travel business is based were lit up in the firm’s familiar orange and blue to honour its founder.
John died on 13 November after collapsing at the company’s head office.
