Ms Ocean Odyssey’s October departures withdrawn from sale.
Classic Voyages MD, Peter Podesta, today announced that the first two 14 night cruises of the new cruise program of the ms Ocean Odyssey from Goa, India have been immediately withdrawn from sale due to an unprecedented demand for charter space.
‘It has come as an unexpected but very welcome surprise, that the first two sailings on the 7th & 21st October have now been chartered and we are therefore not in a position to accept bookings for these two dates’ he said.
“We have contacted those clients who had made preliminary bookings and offered them space on other sailings. Whilst it is regretted that some existing clients may be disappointed, they have understood the financial reality of the situation for the company”.
Mr Podesta said that ‘all those contacted have transferred their bookings to the 4th November sailing and have accepted an offer from the company of a discount on this sailing’
“Given that is a brand new product in a brand new cruise area, the level of interest from consumers in particular has been both surprising and very gratifying’ he said.
The interim cruise brochure is available now and will be live on the Classic Voyages website next week.
