MSC Cruises partners with celebrity chef
MSC Cruises has unveiled a new partnership with top chef Raymond Blanc, OBE.
To kick off the collaboration, the two Michelin-starred chef devised a special menu for VIP guests at the naming ceremony of MSC Bellissima in Southampton at the weekend.
"I am truly looking forward to collaborating with MSC Cruises on some exciting projects, including the development of one of my signature dishes for the Elegant Dinner menu," said Blanc.
"I believe we have a shared passion for the guest experience, and together we will create some truly memorable moments for diners on board."
The weekend’s celebrations saw a host of stars, VIPs, and key travel partners gather at the Hampshire port, including the ship’s Godmother Sophia Loren, ITV presenter Holly Willoughby, Grammy Award-winner Nile Rodgers, and world-famous tenors Andrea and Matteo Bocelli.
MSC Bellissima, the second of the cruise line’s Meraviglia class ships, will spend her inaugural season in the Mediterranean sailing 7-night cruises before moving to the Emirates for winter 2019/2020.
After that she will be deployed in Asia in 2020.
